OOC: For this image I tried to channel my primary schooling self; how he might've gone about executing a drawing like this. Pencils, colour pencils, and highlighters were the only tools he knew to use, so I did what I could think of to simulate it digitally. About insects (specifically, mantids and some orthopterans): I used to breed them in that halcyon lull before the age of the smartphone. Good times..
