Description
Mizu and Luan's home on a small rocky hill below an stone pine tree in the Jurassic North American savannah. I did quite a bit of research about the what the Morrison Formation, where Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus fossils were mostly found, and what it was like 145 million years ago and it turned out to be similar to the arid savannahs and wetlands of South Africa. So I took a lot of my references to draw the background from South African landscape photo.

Mizu calls their home "The Perch". Luan was raised by Mizu there ever since he saved her from the brink of death when she was little. She plays, sleeps and eats the food that Mizu brings her there with him. On days where their stomachs were full, Luan and Mizu would just sit on the Perch, nuzzling or cuddling as they gaze at the vast grassy plains that surrounded the Perch. The two were inseparable despite being different species and natural mortal enemies, but, Luan doesn't know that...
