So, been a while since I've uploaded much of anything, huh? Because I've mostly been busy on Tumblr and other stuff, nad most of the things I've been making aren't things I want to share on DA (mostly because they're AUs only me and a few of my friends would care about, and because I feel better sharing things by my friends on tumblr).
But, today, I decided I might as well share this, it's a brand new OC me, , and made together! Me and Tart made the character, Sandra made the design!

Basically, one day, I was reading about Changeling: The Lost, and i realized "Oh right, fairies/fae are fucking awesome", so I went up to Tart and I was like "Can we make a fairy realm for our shared universe?" So, we did just that, and shortly after that, I decided to make a new character based in said realm.

The result is this character, Adalynn, she's a Changeling, which is a person who was abducted from their home, and spirited away to The Fair Lands, a magical realm parallel to the universe, and connects to many other worlds spread across the universe. Many magical creatures live there, including elves, fairies, and pixies.

The short version of the story is: Adalynn was a human girl who lived a rich and varied lifestyle, but was utterly sheltered, one day, she grew frustrated and wanted to go outside, and, to her luck, she heard a voice, beckoning her to come into the forest nearby her house. She followed it...and soon found herself shanghaied by fairies.
They abducted her because of a rare, but massive magical potential within her (The ability to change and reshape matter), and she was to be a serant to The Winter Court's Princess Gimoire.
After that, she was branded (something that happens to all Changelings) on her neck, and started serving the princess.

After that, her story basically becomes her trying to return to her homeworld to visit her parents and hopefully assure them she's alright, but since the fairies left a "Fetch", a living replica made to take her place, that might prove difficult.

Though, she does have very potent magic, originally, she was only going to be able to change/manipulate things to an extent, but because of The Fair Lands volatile magic, it grew rapidly to the point she can transform/change properties of many things...including people! If she feels like it, she can place "hexes" on people, transforming them into other things. (Think Skull Kid in Majora's Mask)

She was VERY fun to make, there was input from all sides and it finally came into this really great well rounded character, I already like her a lot!

My RP group likes her, my friends like her, sure how my friends like her too!
