I'm sure a few of you remember Poire, a Homunculus I made a while back. She was a good concept but I kind of fudged her design and personality. So I just kinda left her dormant there for awhile, then one day I decided to come back to her and redo her because frig. She's kind of an important part in Scarlet's story.

And no, she doesn't need glasses. Those are just for show

Anyway, Poire's a Homunculus, an artificial being made from an Alchemist, there are many ways a Homunculus can be made, but Poire was made from a concentration of supernatural energy in the Summer Solstice, and a doll made from various materials.
She commands the power of Darkness and Earth, and wields a weapon (seen on her old ugly reference) that can split into two separate weapons.

Another thing not seen here is her "Proof of Creation", a mark of sorts that is a tattoo or birthmark of a kind that appears on all artificially made beings, Poire's is on the back of her neck and is a snake coiled around a drop of blood.

The differences between a Homunculus and a Human are subtle, but noticeable, for example, Poire doesn't have a soul (obviously), but the supernatural energy that brought her to life functions as her "soul", of sorts. And her eyes and hair are an unnatural color. Not only that, but when she's damaged or injured, as opposed to wounds, her skin and parts of her begin to crack open and bleed. They can be mended by dirt or clay that's been enchanted...oh, and she doesn't age. But of course what sense would an artificial being aging make?

Her personality was something I really never decided on, but Shy was something I had, but of course since that's cliche, I'm throwing that in the garbage. Now I'm going more with Extroverted and excitable (Thanks for the suggestion )

Her backstory now! ...I don't have it, I'm kinda rewriting it to not suck. But it's still kinda the basic principle, starts out emotionless, gets her ass kicked by Scarlet and spared, starts getting emotions. Just trying to think of an ultimately better way to make it work because before it was like a stupid combination of Roxas and Megaman.
