Description Okay, everyone. Here's another Character Alignment meme I made and similar to the previous one , it revolves on the show's lovable yet dumbest sea-star, Patrick.

Lawful Good - "I am Patrick-Man: defender of Bikini Bottom!"(In Patrick-Man!, The sea-star decided to turn into a superhero after watching Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and figures what he's gonna do in life. I could've put this in the Chaotic Neutral bin due of his actions, but I already put it at the Lawful Good section. Also, for more reasons why, he did join Mermaid Man's quest of saving the world in one of the MM & BB episodes.)

Lawful Neutral - "Put him through." (At Patrick's dream sequence in Home Sweet Rumble, he gives orders to random telephone girl to bring Spongebob in. And for some episodes like Truth or Square and No Hat For Pat, he just follow simple orders no matter how ridiculous it is.)

Lawful Evil - "Who says I'm abusing my POWER?!" (Episode Rule of Dumb perfectly fits to the sea-star's tyranny.)

Chaotic Good - *Levitates ice cream to Burger-Beard* (Near the end of Sponge Out of Water, Patrick seems to carry these traits as he levitates the frozen desserts forward to Burger-Beard. Just like Spongebob in some episodes, he goes to this alignment when it comes to tragedy.)

Chaotic Neutral - "If I can't have you as a friend, I'm going to make you a trophy!"/ "You're going to look good on my mantel!" (This is one of the major alignments that fits Patrick entirely. In Nature Pants, he starts to be very depressed and obsessive towards Spongebob ever since he lefted his home. I bet Patrick is all thinking "SCREW THIS I'M CATCHING HIM!" while chasing his best pal. Patrick suits the alignment in several episodes like Sing a Song of Patrick and Karate Star.)

Chaotic Evil - "Patrick needs love too!!!"/"HEART ON STICK MUST DIE!!!" (This alignment pretty much settles his rampage in Valentine's Day and saying to Spongebob and Bottomites near the end saying its too late for all of them due of not getting a gift and doing actions on purpose in certain episodes. I can already imagine Patrick beating everyone up and leaving Spongebob covered in massive beatings. And his quotes have proof of that.)

Neutral Good - "Its called the Ugly Barnacle." (Another one of the major alignments that fits him in the series. He goes to this whenever he gives Spongebob advice.)

True Neutral - "Spongebob, you can't always expect my usual brand of stupidity. I like to mixed it up. Keep you on your toes." (That line from The Card honestly made me really upset since it sounds like he doing things on purpose, and that probably fits his Chaotic Evil stage. However, stupidity is in his nature and the side he's on is undecidable, but that's how it look like. He sometimes go to this alignment in certain episodes.)

Neutral Evil - "Have you learn nothing about sharing?" (Perfectly fits this alignment where he's a prick, such as Yours, Mine, and Mine.)

Getting the images were a bit difficult to get while making it, but I hope everyone enjoys this alignment chart of Patrick.

Nice bro but shouldn't ''I'm with stupid'' be at chaotic neutral or something?

I haven't lost any respect for Patrick at all. He was and is always gonna be my favorite character, no matter what. Same thing with Spongebob and Sandy. None of them have really changed after the first movie, IMO.
I get why everyone gets so upset over his infamous line in The Card, but that line is nothing but a lame meta joke to me.

Regarding "True Neutral," it feels like I can tell when he's doing things on purpose and when he's doing things by accident or not knowing...

I agree. In this case, True Neutral is basically "I don't care what's going on." and undecidable.

I think his "True Neutral" should be his "Chaotic Evil."  The way he says that line definitely implies that not only is he doing that stupid stuff on purpose, but also that he's BEEN doing it on purpose.   He openly admits it's all been an act and worse of all is that his actions can and usually do have consequences on everyone else around him.  In other words, "What he's doing is wrong, he knows it's wrong and he continues to do it anyway."

Yeah... The only reason why i picture him in True Neutral is because he doesn't seem to care what's going on or feeling regards of what he's doing. I guess Chaotic Evil fits of him saying done things on purpose.

RetroUniverseArt In reply to JZTSmokenem [2015-08-16 03:04:26 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it would seem true neutral except that he admits that his stupidity is all an act, and always has been.  This doesn't just effect what we see in that particular episode, but also every other episode that Patrick is in.  If he simply said "I dunno.  I just like going where ever the tide takes me" or something along the lines of his odd-yet-somewhat intellectual responses from the pre-first movie era, THEN it would feel more like True Neutral.  But instead, he flat out tells us that he does it on purpose and he always has. He willingly torments other people and gets off Scott free.  Those are the actions of a true villain.

I agree overall. And that makes Spongebob his manipulated pawn.

RetroUniverseArt In reply to JZTSmokenem [2015-08-16 03:36:41 +0000 UTC]

Definitely!  As you said, True Neutral would be like Partick not caring what's happening around him, but at least he wouldn't be the one responsible for what's happening.  In the case of "The Card," Patrick is the cause of the problem, he knows his the cause and he doesn't care if what he does is hurting people.

I stopped liking the characters after the first movie. In some episodes Patrick is dumb as he should be, while in other episodes he's a douchebag to Sandy and SpongeBob.

No, sorry. It's on purpose, everything he did. Because of that ONE LINE from the card, I lost all sympathy for this character.
