Kenji folded his arms intensely while thumping his right foot on the ground at a fast paste, little puffs of steam poofing out from his head. He quietly growled at the thought of his daughter having a roommate, Yufei rolled her eyes as she began to sweep the shattered mug off the floor. "Honestly Ken, what was that all about? Was it really necessary to crush your coffee? Seriously deary, just calm down and relax." She spoke with annoyance drawn on her face, her husband began to stomp around in a little circle, grinding his teeth together. "A roommate!? I forbid this! How do you expect me to calm down and relax while knowing the fact that my ONE and ONLY daughter is living with someone I have no acknowledgement of!? This person may be dangerous! I mean, it's like living with a complete stranger! And worst of all... IT COULD BE A BOY!" Kenji grabbed hold of his wife's shirt collar and began to shake her back and forth hurriedly.

"Ken- ji- stop- we- can- solve this- in a- better- way!!" Yufei managed to stutter out those few words as Kenji rapidly shook her, her eyes becoming swirls and her glasses falling off her face. Kenji dropped her afterwards and paused for a split second before standing up straight with a face of determination -_- just kidding, "You're right! I'll have to settle this in a more civilized manner! I'll have to go over to her new home and see for myself if this 'roommate' of hers is a threat to her or not!", Yufei stood back up and adjusted her glasses back on, coughing to clear her throat, "Honey relax, you're acting like as if she's never interacted with another male her age before, she knows better not to goof off with a outsider boy. Plus, with all that said, do you not remember him?" Yufei's tone of voice went from relaxed to upset within the end of that sentence.

Kenji's expression was no different, transitioning from cranky to gloomy. "...Off course... how could I forget?..." his voice lacked emotion with a sad sigh following his words. "... It's been a while since his contacted... I hope he's doing alright on his own...", Yufei looked down, biting her lip gently. Kenji shook his head rapidly for a moment and cleared his throat, asserting himself, "Let's not get off topic here! Right now we need to focus on our daughter's safety!" Yufei nodded in agreement, "you're right! We need to get to her new home ASAP!... I MEAN NO, YOU'RE NOT RIGHT!" She instantly began to shake her head and take back her words after realising, "Seriously! I'm sure she's fine, it's just a roommate, Aimi probably knows the person and are probably very good friends with them, and how are you so certain it's a stranger boy anyway? It could be a girl", Yufei folded her arms together, lightly tapping her fingers on her arms while rising an eyebrow. "I'm not taking any chances, sweetheart. This is serious!", the redhead lifted his right hand up and pointed his index finger to the floor, swiftly dunking his hand down as if giving an order. Yufei rolled her eyes, letting out an unimpressed sigh, "Even if you did go over there, what would Aimi think? You can't just head over there unannounced, that's just impolite. Also, it's incredibly late at the moment and Aimi is most likely asleep. If you really want to go, go tomorrow morning or afternoon or something. No one enjoys being interrupted during a good night sleep."

The male folded his arms, closing his eyes and tilting his head down, starting to think for a moment, "You're right, tomorrow would be a better choice... I need to plan this out. I can't notify Aimi that I'll be going over. I know my daughter, she'll probably tell that roommate of hers to pull off an act to give me a good first impression so I'd accept him, but I ain't having none of that fake act! Hmm... But I can't just barge in there out of nowhere for no reason either, I'll come off as unsophisticated...", Kenji sat still for a moment in silence, opening his eyes to look around. By this point, Yufei had already gave up trying to convince her husband, she just sat back down on her seat and started to play with the iPad again. Kenji narrowed his eyes, staring at the iPad for a split second, beginning to talk to himself, "Aimi forgot to take her iPad with her when she left...", his eyes then shot wide open as a light bulb gleamed above his head, "... I think I've got it...". He smiled in a way as if planning a glorious masterpiece, "Looks like I'll be paying a visit to my precious daughter tomorrow~~" he tapped his fingers together as he let out a deep, devious chuckle.

*Le Next Morning*

Aimi shuffled around in her bed sheets, eventually blinking her eyes open, viewing a nice, bright morning sun ray gleaming through the curtains of her new window, the birds chirping a calm and relaxing melody. She rubbed her eyes and pushed herself up into a sitting position, looking around at her surroundings. "... Oh, right. New home...", she stretched out her arms and got out of bed, slipping on her fluffy bunny slippers. She turned around and began to make her bed, making sure every corner is symmetrical and that everything is perfect and neat as can be, it sure took a while. She swiped her arm across her forehead to wipe away the sweat, picking up her plushie and seating it next to her pillows, "Oh Senpai, I'm awfully sorry about all the mess in this new place. You just relax here for a while and I'll try to deal with this myself, I wouldn't want you getting messy", she gave it a quick peck on the cheek before heading over to her bathroom to brush her teeth and hair and wash her hands and face, you know, all that jazz.

After getting dressed and ready, she headed downstairs, being greeted with the messy atmosphere once again. She sighed in annoyance, trying to ignore all the trash surrounding her, she began to think, "Honestly, she deserves an award. I mean, how is she able to put up with all this and not be uncomfortable with it? Ugh, whatever." She made her way to the kitchen, avoiding every bit of garbage laying on the floor with a face of disgust. "Aye there, you're up early." A low voice came from the couch along with a few crunching noises. Aimi noticed this and quickly shifted her vision over to the sound, Sue was slouching on the couch as she munched on a packet of potato chips. Aimi rolled her eyes and replied casually, "Yeah, what about you? You're awake too, aren't you?" She folded her arms. Sue responded with a laugh and started speaking with her mouth full, "Bro, I stayed up all night watching the tele! You obviously don't know me!" Aimi stood still, she seemed not that surprised, "... Right."

Aimi just disregarded the situation and forwarded into the kitchen, opening the fridge to find some ingredients to make her breakfast with. She searched around but all was found was a single egg, a half empty milk carton, 17 cans of Dr Pepper, 3 cans of Fanta and an untidy stick of butter. A sweat droopy slowly slid down Aimi's cheek as she stared at the depressing interior of the fridge, "... When was the last time you went grocery shopping?" She turned around to face Sue, "To be honest, I don't remember. I've been living off of the ramen noodles, cookies and those sodas over there, I'm not bothered to go shopping, it's kinda boring... Aye Pinky, mind going for me?" Aimi's face drooped down into unamused disappointment, pushing the fridge door closed and responding bluntly, "Yeah sure, I was going to do that anyways. You can just stay home and... watch your tele..." Sue began to laugh again, small pieces of the chips in her mouth flinging out as she laughed. "I'm actually heading out today, probably won't be back until like... super late or something. Aye sugar, if ya don't mind, why not clean up this place for me a bit when you get back from shopping? Since I probably ain't gonna be here and all. I'd appreciate it." Aimi rolled her eyes and just agreed. Not wanting to but hey, whatever's gonna make this place not a filthy dumpster, right?

After grabbing her satchel, Aimi exited her new home and was ready to head over to the supermarket. She breathed in deeply to finally absorb some fresh air after being stuffed in the messy house for so long. Walking along the sidewalk as she viewed her surroundings, there weren't much people around and barely any moving cars, so quiet you could hear the splashes the birds were making in the birdbaths, "H-Hey" a voice called from behind. Shocked, she turned around and met eyes with a girl, her ocean blue eyes and black silky hair coming into vision. She was the same girl Aimi met at the cafe last time when she was applying for the job, the girl gave Aimi a small friendly smile before continuing to speak, "S-sorry if I disturbed you... I-I just wanted to say hi, I-I mean... if I-I'm bothering y-you I-I can leave you a-alone...", Her voice was soft and quiet making it easy be unheard. "Oh, no no. You're not bothering me at all, you're that girl from the cafe the other day, right?". "Y-yeah, my name is... T-Tish... it's really n-nice to meet you..." Her voice went quieter with every word she spoke. Aimi smiled and nodded, "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Tish. I'm Aimi", Aimi took out her hand for a handshake. With slight hesitation, Tish shook it, smiling afterwards, "Y-You too".

They both pulled away after a nice welcoming handshake. Aimi began to speak again, "Say, I'm actually heading to the stores right now and I'd be more than happy for you to join me. I mean, if you're not busy. I just thought it would be nice for us to get to know each other better, since we are going to be working together after all." Tish stood still, looking up at the pink haired girl, "Really? I'm heading there as well! I-I'd love to go with together!" A smile then began to form on Tish's face, she stood next to Aimi as they both walked together along the sidewalk.

*Le Meanwhile*

A soft brush of wind glided through the city trees, the leaves dancing in it's presence. A young man gazed up above at the fluffy white clouds as they casually slide across the blue sky. Guitar in hand, soft symphony erupting from the strings, leaning against a brick wall, patiently waiting for his friend's arrival. "Dude! Over here!" A male's voice interrupted the silence as rushing footsteps were heard approaching closer and closer. Calmly, the young man shifted his vision over to the other male, putting his guitar away, the boy's long jet black hair covering one of his silver eyes. "Sorry I'm late bro, had to help an old lady across the street. But aye! I'm here aren't I, pal!" He panted for a bit before exclaiming his sentence out to his friend whom just rolled his eyes and sarcastically laughed, "Johan, you're too bloody nice to people. Don't blame me when that gets you in trouble one day." "HAHA! Damn Daniel, still haven't changed I see!" Johan laughed as he teased his friend, nudging him on the shoulders a bit as he cracks up. Dan growled, "I swear to f**k Mother Delilah, if I hear that phrase one more time I will peal off your foreskin!... And it's just 'Dan'! Call me 'Daniel' again and I'll peal off the rest of your skin!" Johan started to laugh even harder, almost collapsing onto the ground, "Oh man!" Eventually he stopped, wiping away a tear, "That there is why I like you, man you are hilarious bro!" Dan folded his arms in a fit of unamusment, rolling his eyes with a slight glare, "Yeah, haha, whatever man," He spoke with obvious sarcasm. "So can we get on with the reason why you invited me outside? Or are you just gonna keep imitating a hyena?"

"Oh yeah, that's right! Dude, almost forgot", Johan cleared his throat as he stood up straight. "Look bro, you and me, we haven't hung out in like... five-ever man! And that's even longer than four-ever!... Considering we met online, ehe~ ... *cough cough* Gotta say, I missed ya, and what better way to fix this than to treat my best pal to some delish food! I heard a new cafe-restauranty-thingy recently opened and BOY is it booming up around here! They say the food there is like... twice the awesomeness of that MoonMoney coffee place that was flamin' up a few years ago... can't remember the name of this new place though... I think it was somethin' like...Fat Cakes of... Peace?... Oh well, I'll know it when I see it, luckily I still remember it's location." He swung his arm in a cheerful manner. "Besides, I invited this awesome Dudette to join us as well, her and I have been best homies since childhood and preschool and stuff, and she is dope! I'm certain you two would get along super-duper, since you apparently can't get yourself a gal-pal after all" He started to chuckle at the end of that sentence, slightly snorting.

Dan's face remained unamused, folding his arms and replying bluntly, "I don't like MoonMoney... it's 'awesomeness' is no more than zero... twice of zero is still zero... So I wouldn't be expecting much from this new place. And about that 'dope dudette'... You know I'm not fond with meeting new people so don't expect anything exciting from me about that..." Johan stayed silent for a good three seconds, maintaining a straight pokerface, blinking twice to signify the awkwardness. He grasped hold of Dan's arm tightly "... ALRIGHTY THEN, LETS GET GOING! I'M SURE YOU'RE GETTIN' FAMISHED UP IN YOUR TUMTUM! BESIDES, WE DON'T WANNA BE LATE, THE DUDETTE'S PROBABLY WAITING FOR US RIGHT NOW, DUDE! Johan dragged him along as he marched towards The Peice of Fabcake Cafe at an incredibly fast paste. Dan was about to protest but Johan's voice overlapped Dan's with obnoxious "La La La's", purposely making himself unable to hear the statements of his pessimistic-as-all-hell friend.
