Description
This was drawn for a virtual Seder this year, in which different artists illustrated different parts of the Exodus story. The part that I drew was the daughter of the Pharaoh leaving with the Israelites, leaving her crown and title and status behind, in order to leave with her chosen family. In leaving Egypt, she left her old title behind, taking on the name Batya — daughter of G-d — or as I like to think of it, daughter of the Universe, daughter of All That Is.
