Sleeping At Last - Hearing

Very suddenly she noticed that the pitch-black darkness gave way to a shimmering night sky frosted with star trails and nebulas. The Sage leapt to her paws, feeling a strange pull lifting her up, making her float as if in water - only her fur wasn’t as wet. Eyes filled with wonder, she turned her head around, catching sight of something flashing at the corners. If one looked thoughtfully, they would notice figures climbing the stars, so vastly varying in shapes and sizes - from tiniest fish to the largest bears and monumental whales. Stars danced around them, under their paws, hooves and fins, guiding their path with a brilliant light, and Illsa watched them, mesmerized, with bated breath.

“You have a choice, child.” the goddess’ voice filled the space. “If you follow it, Olmundra will be waiting for you. Its members shall welcome you if you seek their presence. You shall take your place among them again, as an heir of stars and winter. There is a chance to start again and leave your burdens behind. If you come with me, I shall lead you to your true birthright, moonborn.”
