Just as she was settling in post-war life, her new job, new responsibility... Her home could not rest. Her packmates spent the days away discussing, mostly in hushed voices and away from the Jarl, all the worrying stuff that had happened... the strange falling out between lady Valera and lady Tadita, the arguments for and against Fellfang's very core values, bond ties, the sudden disappearance of Barbosa, the accident with an intruder spotted deep in the pack's lands, close to some of the children...
Illsa could hardly digest everything, trying to focus on her task, her little pupils, talking with others and learning new things as before, learning Fellfang's history. This time also the newest history.
Living through a milestone in the pack's history didn't sound particularly exciting, but it seemed like this was it.
