My replacement character for the now retired Kriti!

I think her design is MUCH better than Kriti's was.

Personality:
Thoughtful: "I heard you weren't feeling well and so I brought you some herbs, I hope you feel better." regardless of her past with others who have bullied her, Liora is always looking out for others. She believes that there is good in everyone that just need to be coaxed out.

Kind: "I think you are a wonderful horse! Don't be so hard on yourself." Liora believes that if you are kind to others, others will be kind to you.

Insecure:"I-uh....I think I can...just...walk around the river." Liora lacks any confidence in herself to be capable of anything worth while.
Intelligent:"You see those purple berries on that bush over there? if you eat them, it will clear up any sickness you have." Liora is very knowledgeable of her surroundings and keeps tabs on the others in her herd. She finds knowledge to be a valuable asset.

Idealisic: "I just know the Unicorns have to be real. I just know it!" Liora fully believes in the unicorns, regardless of what others in her herd may think of them.

History:
Liora was born to very loving parents. A tentative mother and a hard-working father, both of which shared equal time with their only foal. Liora was taught to be kind to others and to always think positively. Her parents always had dreams of visiting the Isle of Olde. They had a dream for their family to live with the Olde herd and live among others who believed in the Unicorns as they did.

Both her parents fully believed in the Unicorns. This caused some problems with others in their herd. Many of the exiles didn't believe in the unicorns, or found that sort of belief to be ridiculous. This caused the other young foals to bully Liora and leave her out socially. One day, a couple of foals surround Liora and backed her into a lake. Liora, being unable to swim, panicked and got her hooves stuck in the deep mud on the lakes floor. The foals had the perfect opportunity to bully her without the risk of her getting away. After they had got their fill, Liora struggled to get out of the mud, only sinking further and getting water in her lungs. Luckily, her father had gone looking for her and was able to get her out before she drowned herself. Liora grew to become very insecure with herself, but refused to let go of her beliefs. Her parents raised her to believe and that's exactly what she was going to do. As Liora grew, she found friends among the others who were socially left out. She slowly began to recall her beliefs, hoping the others in the herd would like her if she didn't believe. Secretly, she couldn't let go of the ideals her parents placed in her.

When the land bridges opened, Lioras parents pulled their daughter aside to inform her of their desire to finally "escape" to the Isle of Olde. As much as Liora wanted to go with her parents, she feared the crossing and the long swim. Liora feared leaving behind the only home she ever knew, even if her parents were with her. So, she chose to stay behind. She watched from the shore line as her parents crossed the bridge to their new life, promising to one day come back to her when they had established themselves with the Olde herd. It didn't take long after they left for Liora to regret her decision. Yet, her fear of water has kept her from proceeding forward with her dream to be with her parents again.
