NEXT :I wanted to post this in a full version guys, but my sister advised me to cut it into two pages again! So here it is... another Solavellan comics!

This is the music which gave me this idea!

This scene occurs in the Fade, as you surely noticed. But can you guess if it is only Solas' imagination or a memory... ?
Actually the two elf boys accompanying Brunwen Lavellan were designed only for the needs of the scene, so they were not important for me. But while drawing them I started to wonder who they were and even if I will not use them a lot in the future, I think I quite like them.
The reckless one, Assan, is an impulsive and quite not the intellectual sort. I suppose that he embodies everything Solas hates about Dalish.
As for Arevas, I like the idea that he may be a descendant of a noble family during the time of Arlathan.He is that kind of guys who excel at everything, but a bit of an indifferent person, definitely arrogant but the most mature of the three.

I so do like the elvhen language spoken, too bad that even though you are a dalish elf in DAI or DAO, you can say almost no elvhen words(Seriously Bioware, not even simplest meanings like Dareth Shiral, Ma Serannas or Andaran Atishan which is the most commonly used sentences that you should at least be able to say when talking to the dalish)
P.S. not to be a critic or anything, but in such a situation it would be better to use Fenedhis only when it is used as a fast response like that(both of them a curses and can be used when swearing, adding Lasa to it just makes it more intense)

I agree with you, maybe this was a bit superficial, I can understand that Dalish forgot a great part of their culture but still... I think they are conscious of the problem, if I'm not mistaken I saw that David Gaider (probably?) discussed about the fact that a Dalish Inquisitor in the Temple of Mythal seemed to be as much ignorant as an Inquisitor of a different race. Of course Solas knows more about elvhen culture but Morrigan is more aware of the Dalish beliefs than Lavellan is which is a bit problematic! :/

IKR, the inquisitor seemed so ignorant about his/her own culture, which made one doubt a bit if they where dalish at all(meeting Mythal should especially have had a huge reaction on a elvhen inquisitor, she is their most revered god for Mythal´s sake

YES, exactly ! Moreover, Morrigan's knowledge about elvhen culture was restrained to Dalish culture, she does not know more than they do! So this was totally nonsense!
That would be even worse if you play a Lavellan with Mythal vallaslin facing Mythal herself and being just like "Oh, you're Mythal? Well, ok"; so awkward xD

My main Inquisitor had Mythal´s Vallaslin, so that just made it worse. And yes Morrigan does not truly know more then the Dalish, we even find all the codexes about all that she knows before going to the Temple.
The one who offers greater understanding about Mythal is Solas, taking him to the temple is totally the best thing to do, one learn so much more(like how Andruil is actually the god of Sacrifice and that Falon`Din rebelled and started a war just to get more followers which I am suspecting is the one who betrayed Mythal or his brother Dirthamen)

Yes you´d totally miss much when he is not with you there, and it also why did not Solas mention the rest of the inscription that was at the temple entrance, you know the part Morrigan held back about the well

Maybe he did not want anyone to drink from the well if it was possible, but later realized they could not stop Corypheus from reaching it(having an orb with God-like powers tend to break through any obstacle in the way)

I like your Lavellans Look more here than in the other Comic. She don't look so...harsh. And I like her hair, by the way^^
I can see that you have great ideas, like I do. But you don't have almost time (or. to admiot it....sometimes I am lazy)
But I like your backgrounds. I am pretty sure it was really hard work. I don't like backgrounds...
But it is nice to see how "Solas" reacts to her...!

These colors are extremely breathtaking, my face fell when I read this. The combination of the linked music and the beautiful pictures gave me chills.
I also imagine the younger Solas with this kind of hair.

Mmm I'm pretty sure this is Solas walking the fade and that his is a memory of the place he's at, and that maybe when he's their that's what he looks like.
