After Matsuri's training Gaara waited for Yukiko to get out of her hiding. They walked for a bit and when they got somewhere isolated where no one could see or hear them Gaara playfully tried to confront her about her stalking.
But as playfully she denied.

It's been years now that they're in a relationship, Gaara can feel that despite her usual smile and her playful tone she is hiding something.

🙏 The genjutsu sign and "dissipate" is a joke between them since they're teenagers. When there is an embarrassing situation they'd rather escape, one can do the genjutsu sign and "dissipate" and pouf ! "I was just an illusion, I'm gone!".
Yukiko does that from time to time, very often when it is about her family situation.

Gaara then knows something is making her feel uncomfortable but she's still able to show a smiling face and escape it with humour. Forcing the conversation is pointless with her, she has a lot of pride. So he knows he won't get any useful info from her right now.

Whatever it is that may be worrying her, immediately showing her love could be a way to appease her.

Isolated behind this wall, away from everyone, just the two of them they shared this playful kiss.

With time together they became more bold, started to take a bit more risks being together out in the open. And Yuki likes seeing him becoming more and more comfortable, more and more bold. Because he knows her, her kinks, her expressions, her scars and her boundaries he never crossed. He is the only man with whom she feels safe. Because he respects her silence. That even a talkative girl like her can sometimes need time to speak out her mind.
