Description
These brushes simulate graphite/pencil in photoshop. There are 2 types of brushes, 'sketchy' and smooth. There are angled and round versions of each.
I intended these to be used by people who want to use Drawing Tablets in Photoshop, but they can be used with a mouse as well. However, you won't be able to benefit from the Pen Pressure settings.
Tips:
Make sure you put your colours as default-- Black and White, or set the top colour for whichever hue you'd like, I find that darker colours produce a better result.
If you'd like it to 'build up' like a real pencil you should have the brush set to Darken and/or lower the opacity.
If you want to make these seem more "H" or "B" just go to brush settings and toy with the opacity, flow, and fore/background jitters.

For photoshop 7 or below, go to [link] and look at the options for the brush. You can make your own- sorry, I don't have photoshop 7 but if someone wants to make these compatible go ahead just make sure to link back!

What? You're trying to find this brush or what? You can search if you know the name.

Are these compatible with Gimp or is there some way I can make them compatible?

If you look at the brush parameters maybe you can transfer it over and make your own version. I don't know much about what gimp offers, but it might work!

They are very useful - not only for drawings that are supposed to look like graphite drawings but also for drawing e.g. steam.

The sketch brush is wonderful !
And thanks for telling the options for the brushes too ! CS6 doesn't save brushes for me .-. So it really helps !

how do you make the brush go thick then it will go thin?

I'm not really sure I know what you mean, but the size jitter might do that. Go under brush settings and play around with some of the settings.

Awesome!!! Thank you so much for these! I've been wanting to do some figure studies on PS but hesitated because of the lame stock brushes. Can't wait to sketch when I get home
