Description
Quick doodle from the last holidays -I only had a small book about domestic cats to use for anatomical reference, so it's all a bit funky-lookin' ... still, the fur turned out allright.
Not done on any special paper or anything btw, and I was using a HB pencil, but the eye was coloured and the background darkened in photoshop.

Hrmm... I have to admit, it's been a while since I've seen a feline-based creature from you, which I daresay is quite a different and refreshing tangent, and this concept captivates me to no end. o.o And the fact that this was depicted traditionally goads me to appreciate the finer details of this picture leagues more, because in its own delightful, macabre way, this picture is gorgeous! I see so much definition, dimension and carefully coordinated angling in the skull, giving its head an independent flawlessness in anatomy that can be appreciated at an angle more unorthodox than a regular side-view can promise, the indentations and protrusions of the teeth giving the skull a spine-tingling edge, and the shading is most impressive - it demonstrates a near photographic understanding of lighting pinpointed at its source, and to what degrees and depths it would be defined, and the shoulder's state of decay only further accommodates to the creature's intimidating appearance. The fur is just as enthralling, every tuft intricately detailed - and I think I noticed something comprising of the fur blossoming above the mane? o.O -, And then that eye.... 
Overall, a stunning piece!
