The fact that you do such amazing work by hand is amazing!!
Your works are Museum Calaber stuff in my opinion, and anybody who says less wouldn't know top quality art if it hit 'em!
The colors, the scene, the structures, the poses, the expressions . . . perfect!

This is phenomenal! The glow of the fire off of the wall and the characters makes this look almost real! You are so talented! And the fur on the father's body is just breathtakingly done! So gorgeous!!!!

My turn?
Chakats are interfertile with foxtaurs, the result is always a chakat.
Oh, and Blacktail is a shi, as shi is not female but rather a hermaphrodite.
(Now would it have killed you to read the comments to see if your question had already been answered several times?)

Cute! It's nice to see scenes of ordinary life among these races. Thanks also for posting your recent work to DA and not just to FA.
You must really have to move carefully if you've got a big fluffy tail and you're working around open flames.

Hey Kacey! I've been following your work since probably 2006. I must say this, out of alllll of your pictures, must be one of my favorites. Will you ever put this up for dA Print? I might buy this along with a couple of other ones.
Oh, and before I forget, would you ever make a few anthro tutorials? I think that would help you fans who envy your work a lot.
Thanks!

I haven't really been doing the DA prints for a while - but I do make and sell my own prints directly ^.^ I could offer you a 8.5"x11" glossy photo print of this for $10 plus $6 shipping if you'd like. Note me if you are interested .

how do you misspell 'her'? As for the overall picture... It's truthfully, just strange. Nicely done but certainly not my thing.
๐: 0 โฉ: 2
TheGamer555 In reply to gidget-chan [2012-11-11 04:19:34 +0000 UTC]
It's spelled "hir" because the daughter is a hermaphrodite. Its just how they accnowlage them as not to offend them for calling them "him" or "her", which they are technically both and neither.

Natural--20 In reply to gidget-chan [2010-12-12 00:31:14 +0000 UTC]
Because it's not supposed to be "her" it's supposed to be hir because that kitty is not a she

The feline is both male and female. the pronoun used amongst chakats, which shi is is shi.

nekophoenix In reply to gidget-chan [2010-12-12 01:41:19 +0000 UTC]
"Hir" is a general neutral pronoun.
[link]
It is an official term, it hasn't just been made up for the purposes of this intersex/hermaphroditic creation.

KaceyM In reply to neobro555 [2010-12-12 03:12:36 +0000 UTC]
The shoes would be for the equitaurs ^.^ but yeah, I can imagine if a taur tried to ride a horse, that would be rather awkward.

The horseshoes would be for the equitaurs in the community, and the father is a foxtaur but the mother is a chakat (like the kid)
