A family portrait of Charles and Katherine Turner, with their first grown-up Chakat child, ZigZag.Charles and Katherine Turner are the human couple who first bioengineered the Chakats, and they named the race after a combination of their own first names...

You know i was wondering, what was the purpose of creating such a creature? I't doesn't seem "evolution compatible". I know it's just fantasy but i have a real brain bug when i see this kind of things.

Lol, I have a chakat character named zig-zag as well. Very different coloration though! This is awesome, as usual. Even though I've been learning about, reading about, and drawing chakats for many years now, I never knew the story behind the name. Wonderful!
