I might sound rude, but this can't really be recognized as a cat-furry. I thought it was a mix of a fox with a long tail.
Normal housecats have a shorter snout and smaller ears.

The head/face structure is easily recognizable as a cat in the rightmost portrait especially.

Ah, why do you need to defend her from criticism?
It's her business if she will follow it or not, but I think it's really not proper for you to discourage people from criticising other people's work.
I have two cats, and I honestly couldn'd recognize the character as a feline.
PLUS my friend whom I showed this picture also said it looks like an arctic fox.
(I wonder why it's the furry-artists that get everyone jumping at the slightest word of criticism.)
As a final word: Sorry I sound really aggressive about this, but there is a lot of rage built up about this issue.

I just thought it was interesting that you felt the drawings looked so different from what you would classify as "feline." Nitpick wasn't the right word. I agree, whether or not an artist chooses to act on criticism is entirely up to them.
I was not defending, but simply observing. No biggie.
