When you uploaded it did you set the maximum view quite low? I am wanting to see more of that detail, honestly this is great work. You're so gonna make a tremendous digi artist! this is already great stuff, very dramatic, and i'm LOVING that floor! I can almost taste the soil!

and it's wierd i tend to have a nack for making a painting too large so i work at 50% view which messes up the detail and everything, i need a bit of help with that... hehehe S:

You've done a great job...honestly, I would consider sending your work to Imagine FX magazine (join their forums, well worth it) because of your age and passion I honestly think they'd take interest.
I guess I do the same, but with me I zoom in til I can see pixels, I love that level of control, but it's so much work at that level. Stick to what ever feels good for now...
it's all about the floor, hehe, damn right, it's all about what the eye lingers on, the eye is hungry so give it a feast!

1) You're welcome.
2) No, not at all, he's on the right hand side, the same side as the invading forces (if he's on their side you're ok, if he's someone who's gonna be fighting them, I'd flip him and make him on the left hand side facing right this would create a sense of resistance and also dread, there's a LOT of pods dropping so he would be out-numbered)
You can see those pods are in movement, and you can see what happens when they hit...I understand what it is you've created, if you wanted to add small lines of distant soldiers to get a sense of force that might help...but it isn't a confusing image.
