Description
The Mars Class Battlecruiser Sovereign of the Battlefleet Gothic. Whilst not one of the more famous of its class that saw action in Abaddons crusade in the Gothic sector it has enough accolades to make its Captain proud and honored.Its also somewhat of a "super-detail" project and will probably end with me in a mental hospital before I complete it
The Mars Class Battlecruiser is a 3 Kilometres Battlecruiser of the Imperial Navy in Warhammer 40'000, it has a nasty prow mounted Nova cannon that can kill an unwary cruiser with a single well placed shot. Port and Starboard weapon batteries that can turn continents to ash and Hangar bays to deploy the powerful Imperial fighter and bomber wings. It also has an excellent AA coverage. (Not as good as some)
This is a Warhammer 40'000 Capital ship. For those not in the know

Awesome, but you've made mistake: no 3 km but 5.4 km (from Lexicanum and wh40k wiki)
I'm intrested in this class of ship. Is this possible to add torpedos bays in front?
I'm asking becouse I'm seareching good ship for my SM chapter's Master. Why navy ship instead battlebarge?

Incorrect. Lexicanum and the Wiki are fan-made, the 5.4km figure comes from the Rogue Trader RPG, the figure of 3km comes from the novels where Cruisers of all classes are consistently referred to as being 3km long. This models construction pre-dated the release of the RPG which created the 5.4km figure.
As for the choice.
If you want a good choice of ship instead of a battlebarge, the Emperor Class Battleship would be a good choice.
So theoretically Torpedos are possible, but the Nova Cannon packs a bigger punch

Outstanding work partner my only real complaint with your work on these ships is the Prow never seemed to come out right but this is not the case here at all. Slap an Eagle and some wings on the top of that bad boy and this will easily be my favorite Imperial Cruiser on the net!
So how is the MOD coming along will this be in it! (Mouth watering)

Thanks matey, the Prow on this benefits from the higher poly-limit, I haven't got one! Where for the mod most of the work will be finished with the textures by necessity (As the mod poly-limit is about 3000 polies for each cruiser)
Unfortunately this vessel won't be in the mod as it is literally 200 times the allowed limit. HOWEVER! If I can swing it (and render it this century) There just might be an intro video made using it
