This new ship is TOO GOOD to be a simple upgrade to the Sovereign class. It should be its own class as it appears in all aspects to be far superior to the original Sovereign class.

Since the Sovereign is named after something to do with royalty, why not keep that idea for the new ship class?! Maybe the name, "REGENCY-class"?! It's OK to even use that. I have no copyright or any attachments to it. I own no names or any designs. I just always liked the idea of some ship with that name as her class.

The rollbar on top (the thing sticking out on top of the saucer.) has torpedo launchers that can fire up to five at a time. Each Torpedo launcher on the ship has the same rate of fire.

Would you be willing to do me a modified Sovereign Class Bridge for this ship some day? I presume that it wouldn't be too much trouble to put the MSD that you saw on it?
Modifications:
The Largest one happens to be a console behind the Captain's and First Officer's chairs. The Captain's Chair has to be a Galaxy Class Chair though because it's been replaced by my character.
The ship has a darker, but lit Blue overtone. Maybe with a dark green undertone as the ship's First Officer is a Romulan.

The great big cannon on the underside has an Isokinetic Cannon which ignores shields and rips through one of the strongest metals in the galaxy (not my design, that's an actual weapon from Star Trek Voyager, that was never fully installed.) as well as by the point it's the A, Starfleet has torpedoes which go through shields if you don't study the technology, you can't adapt to them (they're highly effective against the Borg.)
Her shields are a new design that have a 'Buffer' which must be drained before you can damage the shields.
I'd say mine. Just because it's been designed with fighting the Borg and resisting their tech specifically in mind.

The second attribute to my ship is, that is a very new vessel, from 25 century era, more exactly 30 or 40 years after the events of dominion war and nemesis.
In this case my ship was not yet constructed when you sovereign class A, was in service.
The third attribute of my ship is that is made to travel to another galaxies, and make new contacts there.
Her role is to be prepare too all the unknown dangers and possibilities out there, and her phase 2 upgrade to the galaxy class star-ships, is to higher upgrade her role in the new era of technological progress.

Intergalactic Travel is a possibility for the A too, although Starfleet has no reason to at this time. There's also some time travel involved in my stories, which contains 20 years of improvements based on some already pretty advanced technologies. So, Starfleet by this point is at about late 24th century level of technology already. Not to mention, they're also using technology based on a race that's thousands of years old. (again, the Asgard from Stargate.)
But it's not likely that they'd fight and I don't have all day to compare ships. They'd probably work together.

Very interesting ship and very powerful.
My Phase 2 galaxy is in progress with some of the system.
Here are some details:
Point defiance fast phasers, with individual capacitor charges are mounted in all the hull parts of this ship. Those defiance fast phasers can eliminate some type of torpedoes, and also some type of plasma charges from enemy ships, but are useless against beams and phasers.
She has some quarters of relaxation and other similar hotel rooms, but this is for the superior officers. This ship was made to resolve all the problems of the previous starships in all the aspects.
In terms of battle is more faster and more maneuverable then the older classic versions of galaxy class star ships, and more powerful then the Sovereign class ships.
This ship in terms of battle has the purpose to stand in battle without any problems against the mighty Reman Scimitar.
Has the most advanced systems integrated in her design, with new type of era protection(ablative armor), and new anti cloak scans that can detect the most perfect camouflage. A reman scimitar can escape from this new scan, if only they remain in their position with no tactical move.
An ion cannon was mounted between her gross neck and the lower saucer section.
In terms of battle this design carry only officers and soldiers, since and engineers with no civilians on board.

As for speed, the Sovereign-A has redesigned Thrusters and Impulse Engines for more manoeuvrability (the blue glow.) She's a lot faster too. Whilst my Starfleet hasn't got Ion Cannons on its ships, there isn't usually much difference between Ion Cannon designs and they do have data on Ion Cannons that are likely more advanced than anything that Starfleet can build for centuries. (The Asgard's from Stargate.)
