Description
After trying some watercolor and stained glass 'math-painting', some color & ink pencil... but I had to use some layering for this one.2 Raw Apophysis flames . Gimp for layering . Inkscape for frame and text.

It's just that it could look like some photoshop or painter or other texturing, but it's not, it's just textured using another additional transform in the flame, thus a pure mathematical process.

These are both so life-like - as though they really were very precisely drawn with graphite, color pencils and some light pen work! WOW!
