Description
First, I must thank for allowing me to use her as my model for this drawing. She looks so much like a character I had envisioned in one of my stories that I had to draw her. Go check out her gallery and say nice things.This drawing is from the same tale as this one here: [link] It is beginning to grow some flesh on its story bones, but some of the details remain hazy.
Ink on hot press watercolour paper. 9.5x13 inches.

Such a good picture! It reminds me of my favourite books - if you have read His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman then you might understand what I mean - but in the books, part of the human nature (the soul) is animal-formed and is called a daemon, and daemons can talk to their human and stay with them all the time. Anyway, it's an amazing picture!

I haven't, but they're some of my boyfriend's favourite books, so I know what you're speaking of. The idea of such animal companions is something I've been interested in and inspired by since childhood.

I don't know the actual time spent, but I worked on it during the evenings (and a full weekend) for about a week.
