Description
Thankyou thankyou thankyou for taking the time to teach me so much stuff about Blender!I really appreciate it <3
My first render! Hooray! That I then promptly mucked with by doing all my usual hamfisted editing to. Oops. There's a lot I'd change if I did it again, for example I kinda made the hair particles a bit too thick, and the fur particles too clumpy, but hey.
Also I forgot to mess with not only the bump map for my Hawke's scars, but the diffuse too so they're not quite as realistic looking as I would've liked, as I had to paint them in after. Also I don't think I applied the bump map correctly anyway.
Hopefully it still looks close enough to my Hawke. i.imgur.com/zaKmqLk.png
I still have no idea how to extract models myself, let alone custom models. I've only managed to pinch some textures so far.
Models used:
Hair pack extracted by Padme4000
DAI Hawke extracted by Sia-G
Used these brushes .
All Dragon Age assets belong to Bioware!

Good job! I know literally nothing about rendering, so I applaud you Yay Hawke!

This is gorgeous as ever, and I agree with what Berserker said about the fur. Also, <3.

Welcome to the world of Blender rendering! There is always a lot to learn when working with Blender, but I see you are already practicing with some advanced functions like particles for hair and fur.
I actually like how that fur turned out: clumpy fur looks nice!
BTW, sadly at this time it is not possible to extract "custom" models from Inquisition because no one figured out how to extract the relevant data from the game files and use it to generate a model which looks like your custom Inquisitor (or DAI Hawke for that matter).

Thankyou ^^
Belvane (she's so lovely!) taught me how to use the particle system. I'm glad you think it looks okay! So much to leeeaarn.
I am far too much of a dingus to work out how to extract any models myself (I have looked online for answers many times!) so I'm really grateful to you and others that have taken the time to share your efforts in that department <3
Also, your renders are lovely

I'm totally a newbie when it comes to rendering in Blender, but I'm glad you like my efforts so far! Unfortunately, my efforts with the particle system have been met with poor results so far. I need to experiment some more, but time is always a concern unfortunately. Lol, too much interesting stuff to do/try out and not enough time to do it, but I guess that's true for all of us.
