I set myself the challenge of going through all the brushes I have one by one and using them somewhere in this; I only got about half way through. It was harder than I thought, but helped loads with knowing what ones are good for certain things. Plus I'm really fond of red deer (probably because they're one of the only large mammals you can see in the UK) but it morphed into a revisit of the forest elemental/creature theme I seem to keep doing, though I like this the most so far.(c) me!

I really love the feel to this. You've utilized a lot of wonderful textures in this. I like your attention to detail--your use of line/the variety of brushes to create different textures, the backlighting, the variations in the color scheme. It's four in the morning over here and I meant to go back to sleep but I feel inspired now.

I like it. I'm actually glad you pointed out that you used so many brushes. I noticed a few different ones, but after reading how many you used, I looked closer and was quite impressed to find all the little spots and details you painted with them. I love the color and overall tone of the scene, too. Nice job.

Thanks! The texture of the different brushes slowly got lost as I painted over them with others, but I'm happy that at least some poke through here and there
