(Note:i don't take it, just i find it on Google)Well... on youtube they are some videos about a new game named Project X Zone, is a RPG crossover with one of the companies CAPCOM, NAMCO & SEGA, so i don't know if Sonic will appear official on the game but i hop he will appear.

He can at least be either a Solo Unit or a Team Unit with Shadow in Project X Zone 3, if there is one.

Imagine Sonic Wind > Chaos Spear as a Super Attack
Or maybe Chaos Control > Sonic Boost + Chaos Spear Barrage as a Super Attack
Or maybe Chaos Control > Super Sonic & Super Shadow > Super Lightspeed Attack as an Ultimate Attack.
Those two would be so cool to play with...

stop whining fanboys and think logically a second. sonic, a character that has a good reputation with KIDS and classic gamers. project x zone, a game that has sexual appeal like every 5Β minutes. companies have standards, think about it, sonic and pac-man around characters like Morrigan, Felicia and Dante. i'm pretty sure Sega doesn't want another shadow the hedgehog problem. As for Namco, pac-man is 1 kid friendly character

But in the previous game they brought Klonoa and Gantz, another Sonic-like characters from Namco . Besides in Sonic series they have Rouge who has sex appeal, the boobies. I think it's a good idea to bring Sonic into this game considering he's Sega's mascot. So, I'm totally cool with this.

Sonic isn't in it due to Sonic isn't as popular as it was in Japan. It's popular morso outside Japan, mostly in North America. Not too mention, the content of the game and Sonic games in general being more for everyone.Β
I am not a Sonic fan, but I wish there were more Streets of Rage Reps. Axel would've been nice to have Blaze as his partner and maybe Skate as a solo or Adam.

no it's kinda the same only with Namco and Capcom characters and the enemies having actual animations and some other stuff.
Reiji, Xiaomu and Saya originated from that game as the main characters and villain.
Project X Zone 2 also has Reiji and Xiaomu as the main characters wich is probably why it's named after Namco X Capcom's opening song

Oh sonic, you were missed out in the 1st Project X Zone game, and now you may or may not be in the 2nd one.
But you know, it's still screwed up that Sonic, Klonoa and Falicia wasn't in it cuz of some ban on furry based characters, yet there were at least five furry/anthro type enemies to fight in the damn game!

1. Sonic is not popular in Japan. It's geared to Westerners, mainly a younger/family crowd.

Furries, chibis, etc. I'd imagine each franchise included is supposed to be somewhat logical, which is why Sonic, Pac-Man, and Fantasy Zone didn't have worlds or fighters... Well, Fantasy Zone did, just to help Ulala. Though, yes, they ought to include more than just Ghosts 'n' Goblins if they want to include more cartoon worlds. My thought was they should make like a third of the roster cartoons, meaning probably two pair units are comprised of cartoons for each company, with one appropriate solo unit, AND make the villain a cartoon... And get Nintendo to join. XD

Even though I'm disappointed that Sonic isn't in Project X Zone, I kinda okay with it seeing how Sonic has had enough attention from Sega nowadays and are putting other Sega titles like Sakura Wars and Resonance of Fate. Personally I'd prefer that instead of Gemini and Erica, I'd go for Vyse and Aika or Joe and Gilius. But then again, we need more female fighters and the two are okay IMO.

I have a theory behind why Sonic isn't in the game: judging from the roster, I think they were specifically aiming for characters who at the very least resemble humans. Β Think about it, even the demons/robots in your party resemble humans in some way or another. Β My guess is they decided Sonic would feel too out of place. Β I don't think that's a good reason, but it's the only one I can think of that makes sense.
