No, because I am sick and tired of arguing with you. I just did this piece to showcase Godzilla and Ghidorah's rivalry throughout the years. Maybe people are also excited about this because it looks like it's a more intelligent summer blockbuster and something to look forward to other than the next MCU installments and others just want to wash the bad taste left behind by the anime trilogy. Or, maybe, just throwing it out there, they liked the 2014 film and are excited about the sequel. Nostalgia's a factor but it's not the only reason people are anticipating this movie, just saying. You don't wanna be excited about this movie, fine I wanna watch it because I want the Monsterverse to continue past Godzilla vs. Kong as to open the door to new installments.Β
Besides, as far as I care, LP and WB have been doing a far better job at handling Godzilla than Toho recently.Β

Look, sorry, but I'm sure you've already heard this before. But, the Godzilla fandom is kinda sorta niche. Not a lot of casual fans know who Destoroyah, Megalon, or Biollante are which is the reason they're going for the more recognizable Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah. Hell, remember the #RodanConfirmed /#MothraConfirmed /#GiganConfirmed fiasco of 2014? For cryin' out lou- there are a handful of dumbasses who assume Kumonga, Anguirus, and friggin' GAMERA are gonna show up in this film as well as Biollante or Gigan in a possible Godzilla 3 despite the fact Legendary Pictures and Michael Dougherty have yet to say otherwise.Β

And that's not counting how people are 10000000000000000000000% assured Destoroyah might show up in Godzilla vs. Kong with their only evidence being the Oxygen Destroyer in KOTM.

As much as I'd love to see Destoroyah, I doubt it'll happen. Sam with Gamera and even Ultraman. I'd rather prefer to see them get their own Hollywood makeovers in the future rather then try to get every famous Japanese/Tokusatsu character under one banner in the US
