On November 3rd, 1954, Tokyo came under attack by Godzilla for the first time. Though our brave soldiers attempted to push back the beast, their efforts were all but in vain. In the span of a few hours, Godzilla had utterly leveled the capital of Tokyo, killing thousands of its civilians and wounding millions while a few survivors died from radiation. That day would later live on in infamy as Godzilla Dawn. That is why we fight Godzilla, why we fight the kaiju. Not just for survival, but to ensure something like the 1954 attack never happens again.
