Description
How fitting that, after being exposed for the snake he is, Lotor finally acts like the psychopath he was in the 80's cartoon.ΒRelated content

And there was none of that darkness which tainted Zarkon, either: this was all accelerated by pure quintessence. Pure power which merely showed Lotor's true nature, in the end. And in a way, he was worse than Zarkon ever was in life.

Yep. At least Zarkon wasn't a master manipulator who carried off innocent Polluxians like lambs to the slaughter.Β

Indeed. Zarkon is/was lawful evil at worst. He went with the typical world conquering and destroying while enslaving civilizations. Something a typical villain does. But Lotor? What he did was even worse: he saved the last of the alteans so that he could use them as experiments. He went Dark Crystal on their asses, and then began playing this long game of manipulating EVERYONE around him. Somehow I have a feeling all the things that happened since season 3 were part of his ongoing plan to gain control of the empire - and then finish what Hornerva started, and obtain the quintessence field. But in his case, in order to become the most powerful being in the universe, and destroy ALL who oppose his new empire.......including the Galra. The s6 finale just revealed how twisted this guy REALLY was. But also symbolic in his defeat was how after using, and betraying everyone, he basically pushed all away and thus was left alone. And so was how he was defeated: alone, and driven mad like his father.

Except, he's far worse than his mother and father ever were. For all we know, he got sent into the universe where Altea is basically the Galra Empire and he's assumed command.

That is assuming he isn't imprisoned with the Quintessence Field, and succumbing further to its overwhelming influence. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Either that, or he's really dead.

I don't think they'd kill Lotor off that easily. I mean, we all thought Zarkon was dead after S2.Β

Even though they clearly showed him on life-support, and thus promising his return in a future season? But you're right. As amazing a villain as this show has made Zarkon in comparison to his g1 counterpart, everyone knows Lotor as the true main villain of Voltron. Much as i almost wish otherwise, I have a feeling he'll be back someday.........and even worse than before. Literally even worse than Zarkon.

Also, I'm guessing Earth's gonna be the source of the endgame fight.Β

Yeah, that still makes me wonder: what could they possibly do to top everything they've done so far that could ever possibly bring this series to a close? Because at this point, with how they seem to be wrapping up things, i'm real curious to know.

As I see it, they can go into more depth with Lotor. For exampleΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1a10Iβ¦

XD That would ALSO explain why he hates the Glara so.

Indeed. What they did was unforgivable. There must be consequences!
