Description
For those who don't know, the American incarnation of King Ghidorah is covered in scales that contain traces of gold. This, coupled with his bio-electric nature, allows him to destabilize the atmosphere and create massive storm systems which dwarf a Category 5 hurricane. The Storm King, on the other hand, needs the power of all four Alicorn princesses in order to utilize the Staff of Sacanas otherwise, he's just in the possession of a fancy looking stick with a gem on its end. Ghidorah, on the other hand, can create storms which make the one Stormy made at the end of the 2017 MLP movie look like a run-of-the-mill thundershower just by existing.So, yeah, Stormy, you've been dethroned.
Now, bow down and worship your golden demise.

Cut to Flash Magnus flying for his life while minstrels tail him
Minstrel: Oh Brave Sir Magnus, who bravely flew away

Minstrel: Bravely ran AWAY AWAY

Minstrel: "When danger reared it ugly head, he turned his tail and fled"

Before he could finish, a Gravity Beams shoots from the clouds and strikes him dead one, reducing the Storm King and his staff into ashes in seconds. Shocked, Tempest and Twilight turn to the clouds, as the three-headed King Ghidorah slowly emerges from them.
King Ghidorah's right head: "Well, well, well...
King Ghidorah's middle head: "Looks like someone's been dethroned a little early...
King Ghidorah's left head: "Although it's doubtful that he would have lasted much longer, anyway."
Tempest and Twilight look at King Ghidorah in shock and disbelief.
King Ghidorah's right head: "But now...
King Ghidorah's middle head: "I think it's time for us..."
King Ghidorah's left head: "To have a little fun."
Note: This American incarnation of King Ghidorah is explicitly stated to have separate minds and each head thinks independently (they're even portrayed by three different motion capture actors).
