This is kinda how I picture the first World of Godzilla installment to end, with a professor speaking to a gathered audience of his fellow colleagues telling them Earth never belonged to humanity. If anything, we're just guests who overstayed our welcome and the real tenants are showing up to remind us it's time to pay the Piper while, during his monologue, more and more Kaiju start appearing as if to hammer in the point humanity better start accepting the fact they have to share Earth with god-like beasts or face extinction.
