So instead of being a survivor of the Holocaust during WW2, he's from The State of Zepp, were he was captured at a young age because of his mutant powers to be used as slave soldier like Potemkin, but he managed to escape, though the traumatic experience will forever stick with him, swearing that no mutants shall be either be scorned or exploited.
