Just needed to doodle tonight, I am so tired,so I thought what would it be like if Godzilla met the Sea Emperor from Subnautica? Seriously I friggin' love that game, the Sea Emperor is a marvelous creation. I'd like to think they'd be besties.

From what media? The only one I know off the top of my head is the Sinabad animated movie. I always kinda heard a Galadriel thing with the Sea Emperor just because of that deep and breathy quality to her voice.

Finally! Some Subnautica art from you! I really like this piece, it's a humourous idea!
I've been playing Subnautica myself lately, i even made an art piece with the Ghost Leviathan on my account.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play the game recently because Windows 10 has seemed to crash or corrupt on my PC, so until I get that fixed, I'm out of luck

Ouch, sorry about your ill fortune with the system man, but yeah I ran through Subnautica twice in the same number of months just because it was so endlessly addictive, it's a great game even though exactly like markiplier I am TERRIFIED of under water creatures so it's kind of a horrifying thrill ride each time

Yea, it's definitely fun! I haven't finished my first playthrough yet, so I hope to once this PC situation is fixed.
Subnautica is really alien in the first time. When you first exit the pod, you don't know what's beyond your current sight, and there's these weird fish swimming all around you.
I'm not necessarily terrified of the predators (except the Reaper Leviathan, those things scare me) but they are definitely intimidating.
There's just a big heart stopping "W-what?" When you hear,
"WARNING: ENTERING ECOLOGICAL DEAD ZONE. ADDING REPORT TO DATABANK".
If you need some ideas, Godzilla fighting Ghost, Reaper, or even Sea Dragons would be pretty cool.
Heck, Sea Dragons could it in that volcanic/flooded Atlantis city in King of the Monsters.
(Even though lava underwater in Subnautica confuses me)

I mistook this creature for Slattern at first, not familiar with the Sea Emperor or Subnautica, BUT it looks cool and I hope he and Godzilla become best friends, or at least have an epic battle for the fate of mankind, those are always fun XD

The funny part is that in spite of the name the Emperor is female, or at least voiced by one, and has babies you have to save in the game. She communicates with you telepathically, and says the same line about are you here to play. She's HUGE, too, there's some truly kaiju sized creatures in the game, which is part of what makes it so much fun.

Never played subnautica myself. I clicked on the thumbnail because I was certain that was Slattern from Pacific rim. Nice picture anyway.

Heh, thanks but honestly you're not to blame, the designs really are so close. The upper hand the Sea Emperor has is simply being a very sympathetic character with a big heart who you really love by the end of the story, as opposed to Slattern who is just the worst kaiju b**** ever XD Love Pac Rim though, one of my top 20 beyond a doubt.
