Rating: PG
Just a fan comic for fun, continuing the Heisei Godzilla movie series of the 90s. I did this series as a "sketch project", meaning I made it an exercise to make as good a book as I could as fast as possible, because sadly I can't spend all my time working to make the comic look as excellent as a Godzilla book deserves, but I hope you'll find it fun to read irregardless, and I still hope to have done my best. Enjoy!
Godzilla and all characters are property of Toho Studios.

You're using the "Earth Defenders" faction from Godzilla Unleashed as your inspiration for Godzilla's team, aren't you?

Actually no. The original concept of Godzilla,Mothra,King Ghidorah All Out Attack was for Godzilla to fight Anguirus, Varan and Baragon instead of Mothra and Ghidorah, but Anguirus and Varan were scrapped because Toho wanted more "popular" monsters in the movie so it would sell better. Part of what I'm doing with this comic is to revise abandoned concepts, so instead of fighting and killing them all, in this story Godzilla is fighting the original lineup from GMK and turning them into his allies. Any similarities to Unleashed are purely coincidental.

Oh yeah, I was always disappointed that they didn't use Varan. But Rodan going to be part of Godzilla's crew, right? You can't make a Godzilla story without Rodan.

I'll figure out a way to sneak Rodan into the comic sooner or later, but my keen interest right now is underappreciated characters or abandoned script monsters like Redmoon. Expect to see Gorosaurus show up in an upcoming issue though, but I don't know when I'm going to work in Rodan. i will, though, he's a family favorite and one of the best monsters ever.

Wait, a minute. If this takes place in the Heisei universe, then how can you bring back Rodan when in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II, he pretty much died. Unless there's more than one Rodan.

Another fan-fiction idea was that Rodan re-materialized after Godzilla had his meltdown.

Exactly Even in the Showa world there were more than one of lots of the monsters, including Rodan, Anguirus and Kumonga.
