Halfway done with the Kaiju Double Feature, so here's a couple of my favorite panels...good old Bagan and mean, nasty evil Godzilla pinning Clovie down. I am REALLY, really happy with Godzilla in this. For me he's either best as a straight up hero or as evil as you can get, so it's been fun to play with the evil version. Anyway, we're on track to be done in plenty of time for G-Fest 20, and the whole comic will be posted here on DA shortly afterwards.For updates, sneak peaks, projects, and more, be sure to like and follow my facebook page! Ah Bagan. I remember bout.....10 years ago I think it was now....you couldn't even turn the corner in the fandom without running into him. I think C. L. Werner's Coming of Bagan fanfiction really put the nail in the coffin for that character. Not that it was bad; it was a fantastic story. But it was like a legit 300 some-odd page story. Not a whole of fans could do anything else with the character that he did not do
Anyway it is a cool piece. Though I have always been more partial to the black bulked design over the slimmed up white "official" design of the character. But that is just a matter of personal preference. Still I cant wait to see what the comic is like

Wow, I knew Bagan had a lot of art following, but I was unaware of Mr. Werner's epic tome on the subject. I probably won't be adding much to the Bagan myth other than merely showing a realized visual battle between him and the forces of Mothra, but I hope it will be satisfying. I'm just in that camp that longs to see new monsters thrown in the mix rather than recycling the biggies over and over again. And back to work I go!
