The Mothra trilogy may not be everyone's favorite but hey they definitely skip on the merch at least, Bandai continued their fine tradition of putting out vinyls and Mothra 3 gave us two versions of Ghidorah. There's so many Ghidorahs out there that I have a shelf that's basically devoted to him, and I rather liked both versions of the character from this film. The details on this figure are exemplary, a far cry from recent efforts Bandai's pumped out on the cheap, there's so many fine details on the scales it makes me respect whoever had to sit in the studio for hours sculpting it.

It is a shame especially considering it's an early role for Tsutomo Kitagawa who played Godzilla through the Millennium series. It's a nice version of the character and greatly physical.

If you're right, it's a nice and interesting shot of the King of Terror, something that has not yet been seen in any other movie, continuity or game after the RoM trilogy.
A pity that there are no SH MonsterArts of this version of King Ghidora, like the other monsters of Rebirth of Mothra.
Although I think it is worse the fact that no version of Yamata no Orochi (not even the version seen in the Toho movie "Orochi, the 8-headed dragon") has a figure SH-Monsterarts version.

I like the two Ghidorah designs from Rebirth of Mothra 3 as well, though I will say that Cretaceous Ghidorah looks more like a younger version of the Futuran Ghidorah from Godzilla vs King Ghidorah than it does like Grand King Ghidorah, who in turn looks more like an updated Showa Ghidorah "goes crosseyed" XD

I remember you'd used this Ghidorah as an element of one of your KOTM Ghidorah designs we did, and honestly it's kind of neat how close that one ended up being to the final design minus some details here and there.

I love how this one takes a run before lifting off in the air, makes it a very physical and dynamic version of the character.
