Description
This was what you call a surprise when you're following a toyline, eagerly awaiting what figures will get released in the wave of characters, and it was a little stunning to me that Bandai actually gave us this dude. I never saw it coming, but I appreciated that they did. There's so few characters in the Godzilla universe on the human scale that Bandai has ever bothered with, especially in the movie monsters vinyl department, it's a really nice representation of a "character" that never really appeared directly for more than a few seconds. I love weird stuff like this thrown into the mix, but of course back in the day I remember salty collector's complaining because Bandai even bothered to make these. They claimed it "took plastic away" from more important figures Bandai should have been making in the Final Wars line.Well, boo hoo, all the monsters got toy forms one way or another, and I for one was just tickled that we got something this far out included in the line. If only they went so far as to do full human licensing and got us the Xillian Psycho leader kid, that would have made me happier than Tommy Chong up to his neck in a swimming pool of weed.
