Description

One of my favorite Godzilla comics is the 40 page Godzilla Color Special, with stellar artwork by Art Adams. The story featured a character who is kind of like Daimajin and likely was a tribute to him named Gekido-Jin who fights Godzilla with a giant hammer. It's an amazing comic and I wanted to do something extra special for my kaiju custom this month, and this one was a unique challenge because I've never had a monster with so much detailing. The complex samurai armor took more hours to get incorporated into the figure than I'd care to admit, but in the end I'm glad I took this little personal challenge because I loved the comic, loved the character, and it's super satisfying to finally have him on the Kaiju Shelf.
