At Godzilla Fest hosted by G-Fan magazine there's an amazing team of cosplayers and performers who founded the Dojo Studio department. They're in charge of the costumes for the parade, but have also made a slew of fan films and done performances in their own suits of characters created specifically for the Fest. The mascot character of G-Fest is G-Fantis, which has been made into excellent cosplay several times, but a few years back they were adventurous enough to make some 3-D printed action figures of G-Fantis and other characters they made, and I was thrilled to grab one for myself. It's a testament to how far the convention has come, and this upcoming year there's even going to be a high-end vinyl made of G-Fantis through YMSF toys, but I'm still particularly fond of this little piece of history.
