Took a lot of years and work to get this piece on the shelf, but I'm pretty happy for it. The first time I saw the legitimate T's Facto Ghost Godzilla model kit was maybe my second year at G-Fest in 2009, and at the time the $250 tag was too high for my blood. Problem was it just kept getting more and more expensive, and there really aren't alternatives....

.....unless you buy it from Thailand.

So, yeah, this is a boot, but it was considerably cheaper than secondary market for this model kit, and I don't really care. Unfortunately I'm not equipped with all the tools I need to make the heavy resin sturdy, and I was too nervous to try drilling into the spine to put wire in for support, so I improvised with clear plastic and hot glue, and for my needs it works. Didn't mean for him to be as hunched over as he is, but at the end of the day I kinda like it, he looks more like a skeleton in a museum in this pose.

So yeah, after like 11 years of wanting to get this surprisingly big guy in the collection he's got a nice place of honor in it. This kinda stuff is also why I don't let my cat in my office
