Description

The next wave of Godzilla Singular Point figures started hitting and we get one that I have mixed feelings about, and not because of the radical redesign. I actually like this redesign of the Titanosaurus character, it's just Toho's decision to rebrand the characters I'm sad about. Titanosaurus hasn't had a proper Godzilla media appearance in almost 50 years, and he's kinda not this time either. Not sure yet why this version of the character has been branded as "Godzilla Aquatilis" or why it has any connection to Godzilla himself (as of this writing I've only seen the first 4 episodes of the anime and it barely made a cameo so far), but I'll live, I would have just loved to have the classic kaiju acknowledged with their proper names. Either way it's a crazy kaiju design, I rather like it even if it is very Mososaurus, and I'm eager to see how it plays into the show.
