Because for some weird reason Bandai so far as of this posting has a weird aversion to adding any Singular Point Rodan toys to their lineup, brother's gotta do for himself, and this is the THIRD Rodan I've customized from this series, but I love Rodan more than most kaiju so it's been fun. This time I did actually make this more of a genuine custom rather than a "from the ground up" clay figurine by using a pteranodon base body from a company called Boley which sells cheap dinosaur toys to standard American retailers, and it worked very well to recreate the giant scary black Rodan from late in Singular Point. I'll still pick up any Rodan figures that get made from the show if they EVER do, but in the meantime I feel happy to have covered all my Rodan bases from the anime.
