I hadn't quite satisfied my itch to do something from Godzilla the Series, but I didn't feel any of the series' main monsters I skipped the last time around, so I decided to do a monster that didn't quite show in the series, though it also appeared in every episode. The Flying Gigan was a concept monster that was designed and meant to appear in the series, and did make it into a couple of shots of the opening credit animation, but never played a part in the show itself, sadly, because I think it's a badass design, and the concept artist seemingly did label it as "Flying Gigan" just to give it a name, which of course I love as a superfan of Gigan. I may have to put this one on the backburner of "Monsters I want to put in a comic" someday. Who knows, maybe an appearance in Godzilla Triumphant?
