Erabus hails from the moon of Planet X. She traveled to Earth on a meteor being followed by her mate, Red Moon, doing the same thing. Once they arrived they went on a rampage across the planet looking for each other. G-Force attempted to have them destroy each other by luring Red Moon to Erabus but their identities as opposite genders of the same species was soon revealed as they started to mate. Erabus soon laid an egg that hatched into the kaiju couples son, Halfun. The Space Kaiju Forces soon learned of what was happening on Earth and the leader of the Xiliens, X, had the cyborg kaiju, Gigan, kidnap Halfun. This led to Erabus and Red Moon to go ballistic and go on a chaotic rampage, desperate to find their child. While G-Force and most othe Earth Kaiju Alliance did what they could to hold back the disgruntled parents, Mirana, Rodan, Anguirus, and Mirana's human friends set out to save Halfun, who was being held in a secret avacanine base on Earth. After rescuing Halfun, destroying the avacanine base in the process, Mirana returned him to his parents, who stopped their rampage upon reuniting with their son. This event led to the three extraterrestrial kaiju to make peace with the humans and Earth Kaiju. Erabus currently lives peacefully with her family on the Monster Islands.

Erabus on first glance seems gentle and harmless, and you would not be wrong thinking that, she normally is. However, get her angry enough and she becomes a savage creature. She gets this way, especially, if she feels her family is threatened. Unlike her mate, Red Moon, who flies around to get somewhere quickly, Erabus uses her long powerful legs to run at incredible speeds. She can also fire a powerful light beam from her mouth, which she charges up in the fin on her back by storing solar energy. Additionally, she can attack and manipulate her opponents with her long, seven tails.
