After his battle with Megalon and Gigan in 1973, Godzilla was drawn to a tiny isle that was surrounded by the remains of ships, from Roman styrenes to Spanish galleons and modern yachts. At the island's heart was a huge temple with doors so huge that Godzilla could easily fit through them, and all around working on the temple was the woefully thin humans that had been marooned here. An earsplitting roar echoed from the temple and the humans attacked Godzilla but they were no threat at all but they were relentless and Godzilla stepped on them in order to face a huge 60 meter monster that was a sick cross of serpent and dinosaur named Axor who had control of the humans and after a fierce fight Axor was thrown into his temple which began to collapse and the kaiju tried to dig it out again . It became obvious that Axor drew his power from something in that place and Godzilla was poised to blast the temple when Axor ran in and both the Temple and Axor were destroyed. Godzilla left and went back home to monster island only to leave the next year in order to fight the most powerful monster to appear in the first age of monsters.
