Roused from their home at the sea's bottom in 1989 by Biolantte's roots, the Cryptoclidus soon fell into conflict with mankind until late 2006 when Zilla, HEAT, and G-force managed to contain the 30 meter pleisiosaurs in Monster island's water perimeter. In 2009 the Kilaaks would send the aquatic reptiles to New York alongside Zilla, Rodan, and Ragon , but they would be freed by the G-force scientists and return to monster island under their volition.
