1970 on a peaceful island in the tropical Pacific, a sleepy island town would be the sight of one of the worst kaiju attacks of the decade that would begin in the sea. Divers were lost save only one who said his fellows were devoured by a giant squid or cuttlefish but he was dismissed as being in shock until the huge 60 meter cephalopod clawed its way on land and attacked the town but thankfully it was found to be unable to stand heat and Gezora was driven back into the waters were he was thought to have perished. In 1973 Gezora was found and Captured and placed on monster island where he would remain til 2009 when the Kilaaks would send him and Reptilicus on a rampage in Europe, but he would be freed of their power and fight alongside Godzilla and his fellow kaiju against the Kilaaks monsters.
