NERONGA

An ancient megadinosaur from the past, Neronga was subdued in Japan’s past by powerful warriors and cast into a dry well.
Fast forward to 1966, the construction of a new power plant accidentally roused Neronga from his centuries of dormancy. Now considerably larger and stronger than in the past, Neronga rose from the Earth in fury and attacked the plant, not for malice or to consume the people who worked there, but to energize himself with electricity.
The damage that was being caused got the attention of the science Patrol and Ultraman, who were quick to engage the kaiju, but Neronga proved to be resistant to modern weapons and it was up to ultraman to battle him face to face. The battle was fierce but short, and Neronga was killed.
Years later another Neronga surfaced and was confronted by Ultraman Dyna and was subdued and taken to monster island by G-force.
It is believed that Neronga are a divergent species of the Baragon line, due to similarities shared by the two creatures.

Powers

- excellent burrower

- can discharge electrical energy beams from horn or deliver a full body shock like an electric eel

- an omnivorous kaiju but gets the majority of energy from electricity, be it lightning that it attracts with as yet unexplainable methods, or from manmade sources.
