A warrior from 76mya, his kind where designed to be generals and commanders by ancient Atlantian genetic engineering. He is a loyalist to Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd ( though he served Zedd when Rita was usurped, he did so mainly out of fear) He is a superb swordsman and warrior he leads the columns of putties into battle ,along with his wife Scorpina. Goldar holds a deep hatred for the red and green rangers for the numerous defeats they have handed him and more recently for Godzilla who has also defeated Goldar when in giant form.
