Looks like Tiamat from dungeons and dragons, but a snake version.

No idea why but looking at this makes me think of that creepy 1980's drug PSA with that guy who slowly turns into a snake (see here ).

I know it's a misconception because I'm the creator of this kaiju, with Simon Strange's and Matt Frank's help of course. I know what my influences were for it and if you're referring to Hydra, that wasn't it. I never saw that creature before until people started thinking Ouroboros was somehow a copy of it.
