Persumably larger, more mature member of Ghidorah species. You can see it towers over Cryog buildings, and the gravity beams are more developed and have amazing blast radius. Well, sorry for the spoiler folks. Hevent read the comics and that is only very small part of it

Cross between Showa and Grand. And I'm not sure about the larger one part. It's wether Cryog planet had much denser gravity than earth or that Ghidorah is indeed larger than average.And it's still puzzling me why Rhizon said he only knows Ghidorah in legends, while he was clearly present during the K day

What happen if Bagan has memory altering ability. He altered the entire Cryog kind memories so that they think it is King Ghidorah who did that. But I wonder why Rhizon seems to not recognize a ghidorah when he stumbed one one earth. He claimed that he only ever heard about him in legends

The monsters that come to my mind when Rhizon says that are King Ghidorah, Monster X/Keizer Ghidorah, Destoroyah and Bagan.

If you pay attention Rhizon said : Not on this planet
and like all know there are only 3 Kaijus that can annihilate an entire planet..one is Mecha King Ghidorah, the second is Spacegodzilla..and like we know Mecha King Ghidorah and Spacegodzilla aren't under Rhizon's Control
another reason to think that they are not the Kaiju Rhizon is talking about is that....... SG and MKG are on the planet .....so there is only a possible answer........ Rhizon is talking about Upgrade Gigan

I know X and Destoroyah are dead. I was just saying they are who come to mind. And you missed one crucial thing. Mecha-King Ghidorah and SpaceGodzilla fled. Mecha-King Ghidorah, after losing his fight with Godzilla and Anguirus, fled to deep space. SpaceGodzilla left a weakened Godzilla before the hive landed. And if Gigan was powerful enough to destroy a planet, why would it keep having to be repaired? Gigan isn't strong enough, upgraded or not. This leaves us with few kaiju left. One of which may be Jet Jaguar. In the Rulers of Earth storyline, Jet Jaguar has unknown origins and Rhizon was very alarmed when Jet Jaguar made his first appearance fighting Orga. Jet Jaguar is somehow connected to the Cyrog. So it could be Jet Jaguar or something else, like Bagan or a possibly returning Mecha-King Ghidorah

I was in a mistake..... maybe you alredy know this but the identity of this 'planet destroyer' has already been reveal, as the original Showa-era King Ghidorah anyway there was no way out as jet jaguar capably to that ..... he has no a special power like a Beam or the strength to desolate a entire advanced alien world ... but we alredy know the story of the Cryog race

Been nearly 2 years since the ravalation, but I still wonder how powerful that Ghidorah is. I guess it also destroyed the worlds that Cryogs conquered,giving the fact that they have nowhere else to go. And Cryog is a race of space faring conquerors, I wonder what can that thing do to Earth....

There's only one explanation that he could be talking about. The only Monster that would be stronger than any monster except Godzilla would [Kaizer Ghidorah] [Death Ghidorah] [Gigan] or the one that everybody forgot that it was not killed and it's almost unkillable would be (Must I said it?) [Orga]

Oh, god. The suspense and build up is insane! I want to know SO bady who Rhizon is talking about. I mean, there are plenty of kaiju he could refer to: thebeast of the issue 25 cover, though i doubt it since i'm sure that it's the queen. Another Ghidorah creature, since we have no idea what King Ghidorah specifically is, and if there are more like him out there. But if there are, then i dread the idea of the Grand King making his debut, though i can't see this happening sadly. Why, toho?! WHY?!? But there's also possibly Jet Jaguar, who has been hinted to have some unknown history with the cryog, considering Rhizon's reaction to seeing him last time. But i digress: who, or whatever it is, i cannot wait to learn more about it, and to read this awesome chapter. So good on ya matt for making this!

Yes, i am actually thinking something like that too. After all, only Rhizon and his crew saw Jet Jaguar, and even got attacked by him, with complete and utter dread at the same time. The only question now is what his history with the Cryog is exactly? Because he's already shown to have ties to them, so it may be possible that he's a creation gone rogue against them, or something. Either way, i can't wait to see his.....less than official rematch with Gigan. Because like you said, he's a total and complete badass who remains undefeated in the series so far. Now let's see if he can keep up the rep.

Yep. I found out a while back, before the website i read my comics on was having a problem uploading stuff. And it's funny, but somehow i knew it would be him, i just never expected it to be Showa Ghidorah. But it makes sense since he is the original planet killer of Toho. But it's cool either way. Thanks for taking the time to tell me anyway. I really appreciate it.

Though i have to admit: it was interesting to see an alternative take on the "Galactus destroys Skrull homeworld" story. Or rather, the story retold with different characters.

yeah it was interesting.....but while we know the Destroyer Of Planets is the original Showa-era King Ghidorah, This is surprising and disappointing at the exact same time.

Oh, i see. Maybe because you were expecting/hoping itwas someone else, right? Well, don't worry cause i know how that feels. Though i actually am a bit glad that Matt payed tribute to Showa Ghidorah in such a manner. Especially since i don't think he gets as much praise as he deserves design-wise. Though i'm sure this version of him is much better than the original, thank god.

yeah.....I mean is a great homenaje......but 3 Ghidorahs( Heisei, Keizer, Showa)???.....in my personal opinion this is a lot...... maybe they could use a less know kaiju..... someone like Bagan or Orochi.... I don't know........but I think is better than show 3 Ghidorahs!!
